Job Purpose
To grow the Bank’s books and maximise profitability by properly and professionally maintain existing corporate clients and proactively acquiring new clients in the target group, identifying client needs and providing tailor made solutions.
Duty/responsibilities
Business Development and Growth
Sources and develops new Corporate banking Clientele Sales by selling
the bank’s product and service offerings
Client Maintenance
Manages and maintains existing corporate clientele by responding to their
needs (products, complaints, queries, requests) in a timely and satisfactory
manner.
Product Development
Support the Products Team in development and improvement of Corporate
Banking Products by giving feedback about product performance, uptake
and helping in the testing and launching of products.
Credit analysis
Preparing defensible credit proposals that build a case for lending once
details have been agreed upon with the client.
Risk management
Ensure compliance to Audit, Control and regulatory requirements in daily
execution of responsibilities under this role.
External Stakeholder/Client Engagement
Build and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers in
chambers, government, business associations, international businesses,
international manufacturing organizations and manufacturers associations
to understand their current and future needs and deliver suitable financial
products.
Internal Stakeholder Engagement
Maintain SLA based strategic relationships with Support and enabling
functions within the organization to enable timely and appropriate service to
clients.
Customer Service
Exhibit and maintain the highest standards of customer service in order to
maximize the returns from existing relationships and attract new business
from targeted customers.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience banking preferably.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications.
- Superior product knowledge.
- A team player with leadership skills.
- Maintain a positive attitude focused on customer satisfaction.
