Job Summary: The Procurement, Logistics, and Planning Manager will oversee the procurement, logistics, and supply chain operations specific to the corrugated box manufacturing process. This role is critical in ensuring the timely sourcing of raw materials, efficient inventory management, and optimized logistics to meet production schedules and customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to source paper, adhesives, and other materials required for corrugated box production while ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
  • Manage logistics operations, including the transportation of raw materials and finished products, ensuring efficient delivery and adherence to regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and maintain optimal stock to support manufacturing schedules.
  • Analyze and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain operations, identifying areas for improvement to enhance efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers to secure favorable terms and ensure supply continuity.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance teams to ensure materials received meet the required specifications and quality standards.
  • Lead and mentor the procurement and logistics teams, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
  • Implement and maintain procurement and inventory management systems to streamline operations and reduce waste.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of corrugated materials and manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a strong aptitude for relationship management.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS, CPIM) is a plus.
