JOB PURPOSE: To achieve company targets through effectively selling and marketing company products and services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve sales targets for company products & services through penetration of new markets & servicing of existing customers.
- Maintain up-to-date customer information and develop an effective customer database for business use.
- Enhance the company brand through extensive marketing, visibility and availability of our products and services in the market.
- Works directly with the content and communications manager to identify and implement marketing campaigns, sales promotions in order to ensure effective out reach to the target audiences.
- Establishing and nurturing longterm relationships with clients to ensure great customer experience.
- Work closely with other departments to address client needs and ensure timely complaint resolution.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management use
- Manage his/her performance & ensure self development through active identification/analysis of training needs & participation in available training development programmes.
- Ensure daily update of all sales transactions and customer data on all Agro Supply sales systems.
- Work with the operations and finance departments to carry out monthly stock reconcileiations.
- Capture and analyse trade market data in the areas of product range, sales trends, competition activities & trading terms.
- Respond to & handle customer complaints promptly through co-ordinating and following-up all customer related issues to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
- Identify & propose customer service improvement activities that are fully integrated in the company’s core businesses to add value to the customer.
- Managing & building customer relationships for both existing customers and prospective clients for effective customer retention management.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Bachelors Degree in Business-Related discipline.
- Minimum 2years experience in sales & marketing.
