Leadership Responsibilities:  This position will be responsible for overall leadership and direction to the Finance Department. This position also works within the senior management team This role has direct reports including Operations Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance Business Partner, Chief Accountant and Head of Information Technology.  Energise and mobilise the functional organisation and create momentum behind the business financial agenda.Deliver consistent and excellent performance and create conditions for the team to succeed through coaching and development of the finance teamLead the development and support the implementation of Agent financing schemes to enhance delivery and achievement of business targetsDevelop and nurture relationships key business stakeholders to further achievement of business goals Advise the MD and board of directors on financial strategy and its impact on company objectives. Develop the business Strategy and finance functional strategies in partnership with MD and Exec respectively.Regularly receive financial reports and compare sales and income targets and projections against the reported figures and suggest improvements to projection methods and analyse any failings.Maximise value creation and efficiency of sales & marketing programmes through effective decision support with Sales & Marketing teams.  
Purpose of Role:    Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the business and manage all financial aspects of company strategy and flow of financial information to the Managing Director, the board and, external parties such as investors or financial institutions.

Qualifications and Experience Required:Qualifications 1st Degree in a business-related field.Qualified Accountant (CPA (U), ACCA, ACA, ACMA)MBA degree Experience Extensive business experience gained at a senior level in a multinational corporate environment.FMCG industry and related business issues such as brand management or brand financial management, production, logisticsRisk management techniques
Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and best practice, working knowledge of SAP is essential and computer software for accounting, financial statements and their preparation, payroll reporting and systems. Managerial experience, including management of large groups and teams.Excellent knowledge of government legislation and policy and up-to-date with changes in legislation, ability and experience implementing new legal requirements.Excellent leadership, interpersonal, teambuilding, and problem-solving skills.Skilled communicator, with well-developed verbal, written and presentation ability.Accomplished manager of time and stress and a great ability to delegate effectively.Business consultingInformation systemsExperience in multicultural / multilingual environments
