Business Solutions Specialist (3 vacancies)

Reports to: Head Business Development

Job Purpose:

To identify and respond to new business opportunities as well as manage the fulfillment of

client requirements.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Develop an annual business plan for products and services to inform business strategy and decision making.
  2. Develop proposals with solutions that effectively respond to client needs and requests; liaise with internal and external stakeholders and follow through to meet submission deadlines.
  3. Use business acumen and best judgment to determine appropriate follow up mechanisms to close. business with new and existing clients.
  4. Identify and quantify clients’ health commodity requirements and manage their fulfilment throughout the client’s value chain.
  5. Maintain relationships with clients by obtaining feedback, resolving concerns, as well as providing support, information, and guidance.
  6. Effectively communicate with the client’s target audiences including clients, partners, and suppliers through appropriate channels in line with the company policies and procedures.
  7. Write and present monthly reports on client needs, new business solutions and challenges in line with the department’s standard operating procedures.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • The ideal candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Business Administration, Procurement and Supply Chain, or any other related course from a recognizable institution.
  • The candidate must have demonstrable business development experience.
  • A credit (or above) in English and Mathematics at Ordinary level is a MUST.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in such a role at managerial level.
  • Prior experience working with a medical supply chain entity is an advantage.
  • Demonstrable experience and proficiency in market research analysis and product development.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong and demonstrable sales and business acumen-ship.
  • An initiator with strong perseverance and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
